Purpose
The invention would be available in three different sizes, with the smallest version for a car or SUV, a medium version for a pickup truck, and a large version for delivery trucks. Each version shares the same design: a rotating base that supports a central shaft and a horizontal arm. At the far end of the arm, there’s a ratcheting crank with a reel of strong cable. This cable runs through a pulley with a hook, effectively doubling the crank’s lifting power. The invention lifts items in and out of vehicle cargo areas by hoisting them, swinging them in or out, and gently lowering them into place. Since it’s attached to the vehicle’s frame, the vehicle itself acts as a counterweight, ensuring stability.

Story Behind the Invention
There are many times when a heavy object must be lifted in and out of a vehicle. However, enlisting the help of friends, neighbors, or family is not always possible.
But how does it work? The invention would be made in three different sizes, with the smallest version for the trunk area of a car or SUV, a medium-sized version for a pickup truck, and a large version for delivery trucks. In all cases, the design is the same with a rotating base that supports a center shaft and a horizontal extension arm. One end of the extension arm has a ratcheting crank with a reel of high strength cable. The cable is wound through a lower pulley with a lifting hook to double the lifting power of the ratcheting crank. The device lifts items in and out of the cargo area by lifting the object, swinging it in or out of the cargo area, and lowering it into position. As the invention is attached to the body/frame of the vehicle, the vehicle acts as a counterweight to ensure stability. This will be perfect for lifting loads when other people or equipment are not available.
